About Coach Griff
I was born and raised by my two incredible parents in Princeton, New Jersey where I fell in love with athletics and the outdoors. In 2004, I discovered lacrosse goaltender and quickly took to the position. In 2013, I went through the recruiting process and committed to the University of Virginia where I became a 4-year student athlete graduating in 2020. Following my graduation I chased a lifelong dream of joining the ranks of the US Navy SEAL teams. Following heartbreaking injuries and unfortunate turn of events that occurred during training I began the process of medical retirement in 2022. Since then, I have worked alongside Naval Special Warfare in many capacities, prepared myself for a new career path in psychology and neuroscience, and developed a passion for coaching.
